AutoResponders and Blogging with GoGVO!
Email Marketing for Your Blog! and Hosting made easy!
This is another piece of content written for an external source. Worth putting on my main gogvo site as highly
relevant content.
This article like the hosting post, will keep things bite sized and manageable, each subject has tons of related
content, which complicate rather the simplify the subject and prevent people getting started.
My approach is get started and then get better, and when all is said and done, taking action is the key, not
waiting to take perfect action and doing nothing but learn every single bit of a subject or choice and do
nothing.
Email AutoResponders are an essential tool for bloggers and website owners
for the following reason: Statistic's have proven conclusively that people do not take action on the first visit to
a site and an offer of relevant value made on a site, that makes the site visitor give you their email address,
will increase your chances of turning that visitor into an active consumer at a later date!
When you are surfing the Internet would it be fair to say that every blog, you have personally paid any attention
to has an email form where you can get a special offer or report... or maybe a heads up when they next post so you
can visit to read more or get an early bird offer... special price etc?
How to get an Email AutoResponder
Now I know the answer is yes, so you know they work! Now the questions is, what are they and how do you get
one?
Essentially its a bit of html code that triggers an email sequence, the code generates a form that people can fill
in that starts the whole process, you just copy and paste the code to your website or blog.
That is how difficult it is... If you can read and write and you can copy and paste, then you can have an email
auto responder on your blog or website. Surprised?
HTML is another of those Internetty words that stop people in their tracks, don't let it!
OK now... how do I get one? And where... I don't use them personally but Aweber is a popular choice for email autoresponder software, they where one of the
first online and have a devoted following, a quick search on google will provide a multitude of choices Constant
Contact, get Response and many others.
A major drawback with all of these companies is you are penalised for being successful, as your list grows the cost
goes up! 501 plus on your email list and the monthly cost increases 10,000 plus and it starts to get silly.
So looking for a solution that gives you the tools and does charge you more for success makes sense? I use
gogvo auto responders, which ever you choose good luck online with it!
Once you have an autoresponder in place and an email series written then it is time to learn about placement and
content to sales email ratios, relationship building and all the other stuff that stopped me doing anything at
first, because I thought I can't learn all this, it's far to difficult!
I must buy another E book and learn more! Load of old cobblers get started today and over time it will all fall
into place.
