Blogging
and Hosting Partners Online
A Marriage of equals Wordpress and Webhosting!
Hosting is what all Bloggers have in common!
(Authors note; This article is from a blog, I post to for increased traffic and links plus more exposure
for the Gogvo Opportunity and tools represented on this site.)
Blogs are either on free Web.20 sites like Weebly.com, MovableType.org or Blogger.com just a few from a list of
many, lets go straight to the Z,s with Zanga.com and move on, or a self hosted option like WordPress the most
popular choice of professional bloggers.
It seems that the platform and whether it is a self hosted blog or a free blog does not, impact on a blogs
popularity. Good interesting content is what shines through always. Content that is relevant and original is what
gets people to visit and tell their friends, spreading the word about a worthwhile blog.

This article is about what is right for you! You may be reading the blog and thinking “This is a fantastic way
for me to get publicity for my cause, product idea or service.” Starting a blog and then posting the content on to
the web, with a view to getting your message out there into the blogger-sphere. Great idea, do it!
Now lets deal with the how's and whys. A free blog will give you a space online in which to share your message and
that is good but you lack control over the long term growth and flexibility of your blog, and do you really want
other peoples ads on your web page? For people just having a bit of fun online with a social site it is not a
problem and just go for it.
Here is the big question; Is your vision for a blog a bit more serious or does it have a financial motivation? If
the answer is yes than the rest of this post is for you. I am going to write from the perspective that you are
totally new to the world of blogs and hosting. Both are as complicated as you want to make them, I like keeping
things simple.
Hosting for WordPress
Self hosted WordPress is a popular and very successful way to blog. It works like this... You choose a Hosting company, and the plan level of your choice, here are a few recommended key
pointers.
Get adequate bandwidth, so you can deal with lots of traffic without your blog turning into an error page.... i.e.
This site is temporarily unavailable due to exceeding the bandwidth limit.
Tip: Get a multi site account with separate Cpanels (control panels) so you can increase your bandwidth as needed
yourself and host new sites as you grow, which you will, new sites happen unless you... and you are an ideas and
action person, stop having idea's?
Get a Cpanel hosting account with Fantastico, this is a great bit of software that once you have a
domain name will create a WordPress blog ready to go in 10 minutes or less. Fantastico has saved my blog more
times than I care to think about. A novice can use it just follow the instructions, it's as simple and idiot
proof as it gets.
Do not let the thought of Hosting intimidate you in anyway, it is surprisingly easy with a good Website hosting company and everyone online has a day one, when every single thing is new and
unknown, in the words of Nike “Just do it” I will write more on this subject for example Now that you have a
professional blog what else do you need, that is absolutely essential? And here is a big clue an Email Auto
Responder!
